Oh and the band that was at the Ugly Dog Contest, Bowling for Soup? Well, they sing one of my favorite songs. Well, it's really my kids' favorite songs ABOUT ME! It's called 1985. Google the lyrics. You'll laugh.
i had to search the lyric to find brandi carlile ('cause i'm that uncool) and she seems great.
they lyrics are a little heartbreaking. the best ones often are.
I felt the same way you did when you heard this dawn, I couldn't get the melody out of my head. It's a great song. Simple, to the point, no heavy production and heartfelt.
